How to Renew Your Medicaid Coverage
At MVP, we want to make sure you have the coverage you need when you need it. We make it easy to renew your Medicaid, Child Health Plus, or Essential Plan.
Automatic Renewal During COVID-19 Crisis
MVP will automatically renew your Medicaid, Child Health Plus, or Essential Plan until June 30, 2023. If your plan is scheduled for renewal on July 1, 2023 or later you will need to manually renew with MVP.
Step 1: Gather What You’ll Need
For Child Health Plus plans, we will need relevant information for you and your child. For Medicaid Managed Care and Essential Plan, we will need this information for each person in your household. You will need to provide the information below to renew your plan:
- Social Security number or immigration document number
- Dates of birth
- Employer and income information
- Information about any additional insurance available
- Your email address (or the head of household’s email address for Medicaid Managed Care)
Step 2: Call an MVP Renewal Specialist
Call the MVP Customer Care Center at 1-800-852-7826 (TTY 711).
