MVP DualAccess is a Dual Special Needs Plan (D-SNP). This is a special type of Medicare plan that works with Medicaid. It adds valuable extras and services to help you make the most of your health care coverage. 

 

With MVP DualAccess, You’ll Have:  

  • $0 co-pay for doctor and specialist visits, mental health services, virtual care services, and more 
  • $1,000 per year for dental costs with no deductible 
  • $50 per month to spend on healthy groceries (for those who qualify) 
  • $200 per year for eyewear 
  • $75 every three months to spend on over-the-counter medicine and health-related items 
  • FREE extras like rides to medical appointments and meal deliveries after a hospital stay 
  • FREE SilverSneakers® fitness membership, including gym access, online resources, and the NEW GetSetUp online social learning community

 

To enroll in MVP DualAccess (HMO D-SNP), you must be Medicare-eligible and Medicaid-eligible. Medicare eligibility means you have reached age 65 or have a qualifying disability at ages 18 to 64. Medicaid eligibility is determined by many factors, including family size and income. 

If you are dual eligible, you can enroll in MVP DualAccess throughout the year. You don’t need to wait for the Annual Enrollment Period (AEP).

  • Are My Doctor Choices Limited With MVP DualAccess?
    MVP DualAccess members have the same access as MVP’s other Medicare Advantage members. It includes more than 23,000 doctors and hospitals in New York, Vermont, and other areas. It includes top specialists, physicians, urgent care centers, labs, and more. 
  • Does MVP DualAccess Offer Support to Help Manage My Health?
    As an MVP DualAccess member, you’ll have access to a consistent MVP Care Team for personalized guidance. They can help set up transportation, create a care plan, manage medications and supplies, and more. 
MVP Health Plan, Inc. is an HMO-POS/PPO/HMO D-SNP organization with a Medicare contract and a contract with the New York State Medicaid program. Enrollment in MVP Health Plan depends on contract renewal. In-person visits and referrals are subject to cost-share per plan. Members enrolled in a Medicare Rx plan without additional MVP medical coverage do not have access to MVP virtual care services through Gia.
