Quality Reports
The MVP Quality team has developed several primary care quality reports, produced at the practice site level, which will help you to manage your patients who are MVP members. To see which reports are available to your facility, please contact your Professional Relations representative.
Clinical Guidelines and Supporting Documents
MVP updates its clinical guidelines at least every two years. The review process is initiated on a more frequent basis when new scientific evidence or national standards are published. MVP reviews all applicable guidelines and makes updates accordingly.
The list below links to specific topics; each contains further information about clinical guidelines, supporting tools for clinicians, useful information for patients, and more.
These guidelines are not intended to replace the role of the clinical judgment by the physician in the management of any disease entity. They are educational guidelines to help assist in the delivery of good medical care. All treatment decisions are ultimately up to the physician.
You may request more information about MVP’s quality initiatives by calling the Customer Care Center for Provider Services, Monday through Friday, 8:30 am – 5:00 pm, at 1-800-684-9286. TTY users may call 1-800-662-1220.
